SBQG members provide quilts to those in need. Our quilts range from baby, to children, to adult sizes. In 2020, SBQG’s donations included:
- 8 quilts, 4 quilt kits (top, backing and binding) and 14 pillowcases to fire survivors in Oregon
- 12 quilts, 5 quilt kits (top, backing and binding) and 68 pillowcases to fire survivors in Northern California, through We Care and local agencies and quilt guilds
- 5 quilts and 24 pillowcases to local families through Old Torrance Neighborhood Association, and one quilt for a Torrance Fire Fighter.
- 125 pillowcases and 74 Christmas stockings to the 1736 Family Crisis Center in Torrance
- 40 Christmas stockings to First Star, Inc. (education program for foster children)
