UPDATES ON GIVING
October 2022 Update
When you announce a new community service project (placemats for Meals on Wheels) and share the goal is quantity 90, but you receive over 120 at the subsequent guild meeting, you know you have an awesome and generous group of sewers! Pam Overton delivered the first 90 and is reaching out to other South Bay Meals on Wheels teams to see if they also have interest and what quantities they need. Here are a few of the wonderful donations received to date.
Arlene Zobrist presented another quilt made by Pam Overton for the USS California sailors.
August 2022 Update
SBQG Disaster Relief is collecting 16-patch blue and yellow checkerboard blocks (12.5" raw edge) to make quilts for Ukraine refugees. Please see the information sheet titled "16-Patch Quilt Block for Ukraine" on the Disaster Response page.
