The quilt design was adapted from the pattern “My Whimsical Garden” by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins formerly of Piece O’ Cake Designs.  More than 60 of our members helped make this quilt.  Proceeds go to support our guild and our many philanthropic programs.

Lucile’s ticket was drawn from a total of about 7,000 tickets sold by our members.  Lucile came to the show to see the Featured Quilter exhibit by Alita Aldridge which she loved. She toured the whole show and enjoyed it very much.  Although she is not a quilter herself, she has several of her family’s treasured quilts from past generations and is delighted to have won our beautiful quilt.
