Alita Aldridge
Alita is a native Angelino and comes from a crafty family. She learned to sew from her mother, a very accomplished dressmaker, who started Alita making doll clothes and her own clothes at an early age.  Alita took a break from sewing during her high school years and several decades of working and raising her daughters.  After viewing some beautiful art quilts, a little over 10 years ago, she was inspired to make one and hence began her quilting journey.  Please come visit our show and see her full story and her spectacular quilts!

Carollee Williams-Schuegraf
Carollee Williams-Schuegraf comes from a long line of traditional quilters. After retiring from Silicon Valley and moving to Southern California to be with her husband, Klaus; Carollee joined SBQG. At SBQG she has held various positions, including Workshop Chair, Intra-Guild 2019 and 2020; and Fashion Show Chair 2012, 2015 and 2019. When Carollee first began creating quilts, she crafted traditional patterns. Exploring design patterns, fabrics, and colors, she shifted to art quilts and improv quilts. Carollee is thrilled to be in the SBQG show and hopes to inspire others to create art!
