I saw Kimberly Rado’s “Way Up There” quilt pattern at the SBQG 2020 Quilt Show and had to have it. My great-niece Penelope's birth gave me a special reason to make it. I made a crib size version and drafted a smaller version of the giraffes and the oxpicker bird to fit. I used fabric I had found several years ago called Hip Happier as the color inspiration. Hip Happier is full of brightly colored flowers and paisleys, perfect for a new little girl.
