Claw de Deux is my entry for the 2022 Quilt Show "By the Sea Challenge". I saw the pattern at Road to California several years ago. The crab shell was made using Texture Magic and I thought it was really cute with the texture in the shell. I got both the pattern and the Texture Magic at the show and put it away waiting for an opportunity to make it. My day finally arrived! My husband and I played around with several names. His last suggestion was "Pas de Deux" which means a dance for two. We thought it would be more fun to call it "Claw de Deux", even though we weren't sure if they were going to dance or challenge each other.
