This quilt incorporates several of my reverse applique designs (sewn by machine) for the lettering, hearts and rose/vase, along with hugs & kisses pieced blocks. The central hearts, rose, leaves and the lower-case letters are hand-dyed fabric, and the embellishments include lace, embroidery, beading and buttons. The top was a UFO for a number of years, now finally finished with Eleanor Johnson's beautiful quilting.
