Design Inspiration: My own Design using Dresden Plate block

My daughter’s friend wanted a sunflower quilt. I searched around the internet for ideas and came across Kimberly Einmo’s Dresden Plate Sunflower Quilt. A Dresden plate had been on my bucket list and I really liked the way Kim used the Dresden plates to make the sunflowers. I started looking for different arrangements of Dresden Quilts and found a fun scattered arrangement on the Patchwork Posse website. After I appliqued the centers on the flowers, I used a decorative stitch around them to enhance the flowers.
