Read Me A Quilt Contact: Nadine Kirk
Read Me A Quilt is a program for children taken into foster care. A book and a quilt are donated together and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) distributes them to the children
The CASA coordinators are very appreciative of everyone’s hard work and generosity in making these quilts and providing the books for the foster children.
CASA’s clients include very young children to those up to the age of 21. Suggested sizes for quilts range from 40 x 60 (large enough for children to wrap around themselves), to lap/twin size for those who are older and getting ready to live on their own. Pillowcases are also welcome.
For a list of suggested books please visit the documents page.
