Congratulations to each Viewer’s Choice winner in this year’s Quilt Show! Awards were presented at this evening’s Guild meeting. Here are the winners in each category:
The Powerhouse Museum put up an electronic swatch book of their antique fabrics online. You can search by year or color. (Yes, prints are findable by .every. color in the print.)
This is a great way to find fabric from an era.
Or, find color combinations if you already have one color in mind.
Melody Johnson is generously giving away her (circa 2003) 16-page free motion quilting designs booklet. Click on the link or the image to go to her website. Then click on the button at the top right to go to the pdf.
I purchased this booklet when she visited our guild and it was a good value. At $0, it’s hard to beat.

My quilting markings have long since faded and I’ve can’t remember what I was thinking. But, Leah Day’s Free Motion Quilting Project is full of ideas and inspiration. My mom’s quilt may just resemble the no-mark wavy matrix shown below.
