Vintage fabric swatches online

The Powerhouse Museum put up an electronic swatch book of their antique fabrics online.  You can search by year or color.  (Yes, prints are findable by .every. color in the print.)

This is a great way to find fabric from an era.

Or, find color combinations if you already have one color in mind.

Really free motion quilting designs

Melody Johnson is generously giving away her (circa 2003) 16-page free motion quilting designs booklet.  Click on the link or the image to go to her website.  Then click on the button at the top right to go to the pdf.

I purchased this booklet when she visited our guild and it was a good value.  At $0, it’s hard to beat.
